Cook the soup from sauerkraut is quite simple. According to the recipe of the products included in them directly sauerkraut, meat on the bone, onions, carrots and potatoes, plus favorite spices.

Soup of sauerkraut – a dish is interesting because it is much tastier and richer the next day, when configure themselves.

Soup of sauerkraut – ingredients:

  • 700 g pork ribs,
  • 100 g of pork,
  • 300 g of sauerkraut,
  • 2 onions,
  • 3 potatoes,
  • 1 carrot,
  • 1 white root (celery, parsley, parsnip),
  • 3 cloves garlic,
  • dried herbs (dill, parsley, Basil),
  • 2 Bay leaves,
  • 2 peas of allspice,
  • red pepper to taste (or 0.5 pod),
  • ground black pepper,to taste
  • sugar to taste,
  • salt to taste,
  • 3 liters of water.

Soup of sauerkraut cooking

  • Pork ribs wash, clean and cut into serving pieces, each bone was meat.
  • In a saucepan boil some water and immerse the pork ribs. Bring to boil, remove the foam, put the broth, halved onion, white root, Bay leaf, allspice and salt. Boil the soup for approximately 1 hour.
  • Bacon cut into strips. Onions finely cut. Carrot RUB on a coarse grater. Potatoes cut in cubes. Grind the herbs and garlic. Sauerkraut if necessary grind.
  • In a frying pan of bacon vatapi fat. Get cracklings, and lard passerby onion, then add carrots and fry for 5-7 minutes. At the end add the garlic, herbs, red and black pepper and fry for a few minutes.
  • From the broth, pull the ribs, and strain the broth. Return the meat to the pot, add potatoes and boil 10 minutes. Add zazharku in broth and sauerkraut. Bring to boil, reduce fire and boil for about 20 minutes.
  • Try the soup with sauerkraut and optionally salt, add sugar and cabbage pickle. Then take off from heat and let the soup to infuse for about 30 minutes.
  • Serve the soup with sauerkraut hot with garlic, greens, sour cream and fresh bread.
