Gingerbread coffee – spicy, fragrant and delicious drink that will give you a holiday atmosphere. Preparing it is very simple, in fact it’s the same coffee with milk, but with the addition of gingerbread spices that are just incredibly transform the drink.

Ingredients for making gingerbread coffee

  • Milk 50 milliliters
  • Maple syrup, honey or sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger 1/3 teaspoon
  • Cardamom 3 pieces
  • Cinnamon 1/3 teaspoon
  • Cloves 3 pieces
  • Nutmeg 1/3 teaspoon
  • Vanilla 1 centimeter from the pod
  • Natural ground coffee 2 teaspoons
  • Water 150 ml
  • Inventory:

    Cup, a Turk, a spoon.


    Step 1: prepare the spice mixture.

    All the spices you just have to chop and mix. Their proportions are not accurate, you can experiment by adding more of that and less of this to get the best taste. I recommend to prepare the mixture of spices in a few cups just to add about 1-2 teaspoons with the preparation of the drink, without wasting time on preparation of the mixture itself. Very handy if you want to entertain guests, for example.

    Step 2: brew coffee gingerbread.

    Add spices to ground coffee, cover with water and cook as usual coffee until fully cooked.

    Pour brewed coffee into a Cup, add maple syrup or other sweetener to your taste and milk. Milk can be preheated or add it cold, it is also to your taste.

    Step 3: serve gingerbread coffee.

    When serving, garnish with coffee sprinkled a little spice on top and enjoy while it is hot. Very tasty!

    Tips for recipe:

    You can cook gingerbread coffee and soluble, just add the spices in a Cup and steep in boiling water, well mix it.
